Admission Policy

Branford Academy empowers students to pursue their passion for beauty, transforming their futures into successful careers. As a private, rolling-enrollment institution, we consider each applicant on an individual basis to ensure the best fit for our programs, provided they meet the following requirements:

  1. Provide proof of age (minimum 18 years of age)
  2. Provide proof of a High School Diploma and/or Transcripts, GED, or Valid Home School Certificate/Diploma (validated with the regulations set forth by the state in which the student completed the education). All high school diplomas and/or transcripts are required to have a valid post-secondary school name and must not be in any fashion a “diploma mill”.
  3. In the case of foreign credentials, evidence of verification performed by a qualified outside agency must be provided. Verification includes all documents translated into English and confirmation of academic equivalence to a U.S. High School Diploma.

  • All applications will be reviewed and approved by the campus Admissions Representative and/or campus Manager.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for review.
  • Applications received from an applicant with a felony conviction will be further reviewed by the school’s Owner, Directors, Staff, and campus Admissions Representative and Manager. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. A criminal background may be a barrier to employment.
  • Prospective students will be notified by email of approval or denial of admission.
