On April 26th, Branford Academy participated in a Girls Night Out event, which was held at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. Branford Academy students and staff members offered beauty services to the attendees of the event, and also put on a Moulin Rouge fashion show.

For just one dollar each, individuals could get their makeup done, their hair done, or their nails polished. Each dollar donated was given directly to a charity; staying true to Branford Academy’s desire to give back. Individuals who received these services were overjoyed and excited to sport their new looks for the rest of their night! The Moulin Rouge fashion show featured members of Branford Academy’s team styled in clothing and beauty elements which were fashioned after the famous cabaret. The show was surely a hit, and attracted the guests’ attention!

Everyone who stopped at Branford Academy’s booth was given coupons for services offered at their salon, including a coupon for a $10 manicure, and $3 off a haircut/shampoo/style. Although people may not realize it, Branford Academy is open to the public, and offers a wide range of beauty services which are carried out by current students and their licensed supervisors. Students and staff from Branford Academy enjoyed their experience at the Girls Night Out, and look forward to doing it again!
