Admission Requirements
- Atleast 18 years of age.
- Highschool Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
- All prospective student need to complete the entrance exam, questionnaire and submit needed/required documents
Note: The Academy DOES accept Ability to Benefit (ATB) students. As of July 1, 2012 ATB students will not be financial aid eligible.
Branford Academy Of Hair & Cosmetology has been approved by the Connecticut State Approving Agency to train eligible veteran and dependents of veterans. Students should call the V.A. Educational Hotline at 1-888-GIBILL-1 with questions.
Additional Expenses
- State Exam: A $60.00 cashier check made payable to Experior of the examination fee.
- State of Connecticut license fee: $100.00 cashiers check made payable to the State of Connecticut.
Enrollment Process
Students must submit application with a check in the amount of $30. There will also be a registration fee of $150. Students must submit proof of education and provide the school with a valid driver’s license.
